Older cat hisses, growls at special needs kitten
Q: We adopted a special-needs kitten in May (blind with seizures) hoping our 10-year-old cat would mother her. With medication, Tillie now acts like a normal kitten but the elder female Daisy has not accepted her. Tillie wants to play, but Daisy doesn’t. There is a lot of hissing and growling, then Daisy runs away and Tillie chases her, which results in them batting one another.
